Community Investment Campaign
Dear Chandler Prep Families,
All donations given to Chandler Prep Academy is broken down into two distinctly different campaigns. It is important that every family understand the difference between these two campaigns. Here it is:
The Public School Tax Credit is the “free money” drive unique to Arizona that goes towards our extra-curricular programs. These donations can be given at no additional cost to you if you pay Arizona State income taxes equivalent to the amount donated. By law, these funds must go towards extra-curricular activities, and cannot go to the operational budget of the school.
Community Investment is your tax-deductible support of our school’s operational budget. Chandler Prep spends about $1,200 more per student than it receives from the state. Our annual Community Investment campaign makes up that gap and keeps our classes small, our talented faculty paid while teaching 40% fewer students, and keeps our small academy fiscally sound.
The Community Investment campaign and Tax Credit drive work together to support the curricular and extra-curricular life of our school. If both campaigns are successful, your student will continue to receive the type of educational experience you have come to expect from Chandler Prep.
I could of course continue to share a long list of reasons why these donations are so beneficial, but we have decided to allow you, the parents, students, and teachers a platform to share why you believe in this school and why giving is so important to you.
