If you are registering for online services for the first time, your check must be at the front desk by Friday October 9th at 3:15. No exceptions.

Junior High Bowling Social!

It’s time to get your teams together for the first Junior High Social of the year!  On Friday, September 18, we are planning a trip to AMF Bowling for 3 fun filled hours of cosmic bowling, pizza and fun!  First step: register and pay online (from the lunch box link). Next: sign up for the team of no more than 6 kids on the sign-up sheets on the announcement board by the front desk.  Last: meet after school on the 18th in the forum so we can escort you to the bowling alley.  Deadline for both registration and team sign up is Monday, September 14 at 9:00 am.  So don’t delay!

It is almost showtime for lunches! With this all being new for everyone, let me try to clear up the two things we are asking from you.

Register for the site: no cost, new and existing families need to register to access  the secured portions (carpool, lunches, directory, book exchange, anything where personal information is shared). Existing families may use the same password and user name as in the previous system but you must “register.”

Register for “Online Services”: this is the section for the $10 fee per student. This is not a “lunch fee,” but an on-line services fee for purchasing the following items: Yearbook, Triad meal/game tickets, Socials for bowling, Sun Splash, Kokapelli Parent Night, Gift Cards (coming soon), Snowstorm donations, and booster items etc. This fee is approx.  .25 per week per student.  This will allow us to process the bulk of payments online, alleviate the 70+ hours of volunteer hours done by hand.  You may now use your credit card, e-checks, or debit exclusively with added convenience and without additional charges. The Parent Organization processes approx $7,000  per month for our lunch program alone. This will be a better, more secure way of handling these payments for you and the volunteers. As parents you will be able to access your account and get reports of payment processing, when your student ordered lunch and if you paid for lunches. This too will make it unnecessary to call a volunteer and have them search files for the information. The new lunch program will allow greater flexibility to add and remove vendors, students to order even after the deadline and still get a lunch later in the month-hooray! You will also be able to order bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly.

If you would like to start lunch service on the 31st of August, your “On-Line Registration” must be done by midnight tonight.” Otherwise, this could delay  your first available lunch date.

I encourage you to attend tonight’s  PO Meeting at 7pm , at the school to sample some of the vendors and see the portion sizes. This will allow us to tweak sizes get feedback on menu items. We will be evaluating this process over the next month and review it at the September meeting.

Lunch Program Information: The Online Services Registration is available now.

Please register by midnight the 13th of August so that you can order lunches beginning on the 16th of August.  The first lunches will be served August 31st! All the menu choices and pricing are also available on the site – and don’t forget the menu samplings for students this Monday-Wednesday during lunch and at the Thursday PO meeting for parents!

Welcome New Families!

If you are visiting for the first time, please log in to access the entire website. The biggest question right now is “What do I do for lunch”? Until September you will need to brown bag it. We will have registration for our on-line services available August 7th. Until then, hang tight. Once we get everyone registered we can get the data to our lunch programmer. This is a time of true patience! Students can sample some of the options the 10th-13th at school, they still need to bring lunch! We will have samples of the menu at our PO meeting as well!(yum) August 13th 7:00 pm at the school. If you can rsvp for the PO Meeting, that would be great!
